Remember I promised to update you on the gluten-free status of Starbuck's famed and beloved pumpkin spice latte?
Well I have yet to find the original magazine or article I read it but after much snooping I found this post ("Pumpkin spice latte fans beware") on glutenfreelife.com
The author of the website personally contacted the company and asked about the gluten-free status of lattes and syrups. Unfortunately in their reply they mentioned they were unable to guarantee a gluten-free environment in any of their coffee shops due to the potential of cross contamination.
That is almost word for word what I read in the aforementioned article!
I got married just last fall and let me tell you I drank these practically every day. I can't remember getting sick and all I know is that I was running on pure adrenaline at the time but of course we all know that not having outside symptoms doesn't mean it's not ravaging your insides.
What do you think? Would you risk it or would you rather be safe than sorry?

You know they were giving out small samples of that starbucks pumpkin spice coffee at a grocery store and I tried it. I am gluten intolerant. It was damn good coffee but I will not be risking my health by getting a full size version. I was happy with the sample, too bad they do not sell those.
