Siggi's is a new product I took advantage of trying because it was on clearance.
I've actually been trying to stick to more vegan and vegetarian options and replacing the greek yogurt with coconut milk yogurt. But I was looking to try a new yogurt and admittedly I wouldn't have tried it if it hadn't been marked down.
Siggi's is gluten-free and is sweetened with agave nectar instead of sugar.
Bonus points! I am trying to decrease my sugar use or replace it with agave nectar so I loooove that. The yogurt itself, even the flavored versions, are slightly more sour than regular yogurt and definitely less sweet but perfect for my palette.
The label even has a nice little story explaining the origins of the skyr and the beginnings of the brand.
It is also much thicker than regular yogurt, definitely thicker than the coconut yogurt I've been eating lately and therefore a nice change for me.
Since even the vanilla flavor was still a bit sour I mixed in some of the cranberry relish left over from the cranberry cupcakes.
Those darn cranberries are so good I still can't get enough of 'em! I fully intend to go buy all of the largest bags of cranberries I can before the Thanksgiving holiday and hoard them in my freezer!
