Trianon Coffee is a place that is new to me, but I became a fan after having their JavaBomb.
The JavaBomb is on the menu under "smoothies" but it is a coffee drink.
Espresso + ice cream + ice = yum!
It's very refreshing and cream and I almost want to say it's kind of like a Frappuccino only it's much better. For one, it's not as sweet and it still retains the coffee flavor. Sometimes those big chain coffee drinks have a habit of staying on your tongue but not this drink.
That's why my rating is a thumbs up!
It's one of the gluten-free treats available at Trianon.
On my first visit here, gluten-free pastry treats were unavailable, but subsequent visits resulted in a modest attempt to reach out to more gluten intolerant customers. Considering this place is a "mom and pop" locally owned coffee house I consider this to be a very good step but at the same time it's not at all surprising since this city is known to be very open, inclusive and health conscious.
The ambiance of this place is quiet, calm and cozy. As my hubby put it, you can curl up there with a good book all afternoon.
